The Public Forum will focus on the importance of social connections for aging well. \nSOCIAL CONNECTIONS FOR OLDER ADULTS: A KEY TO AGING WELL \nStrong social connections are among the most powerful predictors of living longer and living better. Meaningful relationships improve mental\, emotional\, and physical well-being while reducing the harmful effects of loneliness and chronic stress. When people feel seen\, valued\, and needed\, they are more likely to thrive throughout the lifespan. \nThe Montgomery County Commission on Aging invites residents\, nonprofit leaders\, health\nprofessionals\, and community partners to a community forum focused on strengthening social connectedness in Montgomery County.
