DESCRIPTION:This session honors the women who have carried us\, the ancestors who paved the way\, and the mothers\, sisters\, and daughters still holding the line. We gather to name the spiritual practices that sustain us\, protect Black and Brown women from erasure and harm\, and reclaim rest as resistance while we build the world we deserve.\nWe invite you to join us for a sacred community listening session where your story becomes testimony and your wisdom shapes how we organize\, heal\, and fight together. \nPlease answer the 6 questions below when you RSVP. Your responses will directly inform how we center women’s leadership\, spiritual grounding\, and collective care in our movement work. \nANCESTRAL STRENGTH AND LINEAGE\nWhich woman from history or today keeps you going when things get hard?\nHow do you use the wisdom passed down to you to stay strong? \nSPIRITUAL FREEDOM AND PROTECTION\nWhat does freedom for your spirit look like in your everyday life?\nHow can we do a better job protecting Black and Brown mothers in our community? \nREST\, HEALING\, AND RESISTANCE\nWhat does rest look like for you while you are still fighting for change?\nHow do we bring the healing practices our ancestors used into the work we do now?\nDate: Friday\, July 25\, 2026\nTime: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM EST\nPlatform: Zoom (link provided upon RSVP)\nThis session centers women’s voices\, spiritual resilience\, and the sacred work of rest.
