Addressing these challenges requires more than creating new programs—it requires strengthening the relationships\, partnerships\, and community systems that help people feel connected and supported. \nPart 1: Foundations for Connected Communities \nThis interactive workshop introduces participants to the Foundation for Social Connection’s Action Guide for Building Socially Connected Communities. Through engaging discussions\, community mapping\, and collaborative activities\, participants will learn how to: \n\nUnderstand the role of community ecosystems in fostering social connection\nIdentify structural and relational gaps that contribute to loneliness and isolation\nMap community assets and existing connection pathways\nDiscover practical tools and evidence-based strategies that can be applied immediately\n\nParticipants who attend Part 1 only will leave with a comprehensive toolkit\, resources\, and a clear framework to develop and implement their own community action plan at their own pace. \nPart 2: Action Planning & Community Coaching \nReady to take the next step? Part 2 is an optional\, hands-on coaching experience designed for individuals and teams who want guided support in turning ideas into action.
