Key Objectives

Identify how the built environment can foster and address social isolation, loneliness, and connection.

Defend the built environment as an integrated system as opposed to individual sectors and describe the importance of cross-sector collaboration.

Share promising strategies for increasing social connectedness through the design, planning, policy, and use of built environments across levels of influence for various stakeholders.
