About F4SC
As a key contributor to the landmark U.S. Surgeon General’s Advisory on the Healing Effects of Social Connection, F4SC has helped build national awareness of the harms of loneliness and isolation – and is working to accelerate recognition of social connection as fundamental to individual and collective well-being. Today, we are uniquely positioned at the center of this ecosystem, where we translate science into action, align diverse stakeholders, and advance solutions that make connection easier, more equitable, and more sustainable.
Leading the Way
In 2024, we engaged our Board of Directors, Scientific Leadership Council, staff, and partners in a strategic planning process to identify where F4SC is best positioned to lead, where we can amplify the work of others, and where systems-level change is most achievable. The plan that emerged sharpens our focus around four interconnected priorities.
