In 2015, drawing on his lived experience of social isolation, Daniel was hired by Curry Senior Center in San Francisco to design, implement, and manage a program to reduce social isolation and loneliness among older adults in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco. He currently works with the Prevention Research Center at the University of California San Francisco to disseminate the program he managed at Curry Senior Center to community based organizations working with LGBTQ older adults.
