Jane Yuhasz is the Meals on Wheels Volunteer Coordinator and Nutrition Training and Implementation Manager for REAL Services, INC in northern Indiana. She also leads the REAL Friends Telephone Reassurance Program, which effectively combats social isolation and loneliness in homebound seniors in a five county area. She previously served as Assistant to the CEO within REAL Services, Inc. Jane holds a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University South Bend where she focused on social and women’s history. Prior to REAL Services, Inc. Jane served as an Education Manager for Elkhart & St. Joseph Counties Head Start Consortium, which serves infants and children birth to 5 years old. She is passionate about community action, continuous improvement and advocating for families and the elderly. By combining her knowledge of education and community awareness with her love of helping others, Jane has made great strides with connecting dedicated and impactful volunteers with the elderly in their communities.
