Josh Penny is a brand strategist with over a decade of experience building cultural relevance, influence, and trust for some of the world’s fastest-growing companies. Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Social Impact at Hinge, where he built the company’s social impact function from scratch and created One More Hour, a global platform addressing Gen Z loneliness.
Previously, Josh scaled Mailchimp’s community partnerships into a multi-million dollar portfolio and developed award-winning programs connecting underrepresented talent to tech opportunities. His work has earned recognition from the Anthem Awards and D&AD, and has been covered by NPR’s Morning Edition, CNBC, the Wall Street Journal, and Fast Company.
Josh holds a BA in History from Yale University and is a longtime resident of Atlanta, where he lives with his husband Stephen.
