Research Associate & Principal Faculty, Johns Hopkins
Dr. Pomeroy is a Research Associate at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and Principal Faculty in the Johns Hopkins Center for Equity in Aging. Her research aims to improve aging in place for socially isolated older adults with and without dementia. Her current work examines how social isolation impacts health care system interactions and explores community-based services as a mechanism to strengthen social connection. She received her MPH from Johns Hopkins University in 2017 and her PhD in health services research from George Mason University in 2022. She is an active member of several professional organizations including AcademyHealth as well as the Gerontological Society of America, where she is co-convener of the GSA Social Isolation and Loneliness interest group.
