Nicole Morgan, MA, is the Manager of Research and Practice at the Foundation for Social Connection, where she manages initiatives that bridge research and practice to strengthen community systems and foster meaningful social connection. With over a decade of experience as a research professional, Nicole develops evidence-based strategies that are both innovative and grounded in real-world needs, while honoring and engaging multiple ways of knowing.

Before joining the Foundation, Nicole served as Research Manager at the University of Florida Center for Arts in Medicine. There, she led national research initiatives including the EpiArts Lab and the One Nation/One Project Research and Impact Lab. Her work contributed to the first case studies of arts prescribing programs in the U.S., a published viewpoint on social prescribing in The Lancet Public Health, and the development of a new Theory of Change articulating how arts and culture engagement can strengthen social cohesion and improve wellbeing.

Nicole’s approach is grounded in a commitment to inclusive, values-driven research and evaluation that centers community voices and embraces cultural context. She holds an MA in Arts in Medicine and a BS in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida, where she specialized in the use of arts and culture strategies to support wellbeing, peacebuilding, and empathy formation. Outside of her professional work, Nicole finds inspiration in spending time in community and in nature, yoga, and engaging with the arts in all its forms.
