Annette Fellows, MBA / Black Belt, and Chief Executive Officer of Return on Vision Consulting has spent 25+ years guiding healthcare, financial and business services C-Suite executives through translating their visions into value with a customer-first, metrics-based business excellence framework. During her time at UnitedHealth Group and Carlson Marketing Worldwide, she reported directly to the CEO, COO, CFO, CMO, Chief Medical Officer and General Auditor. Her financial and pharmaceutical clients were also C-Suite leaders (Chief Marketing, Growth and Human Resources Officers).
Annette has skillfully led a variety of business functions including client management; strategy and proposal development; new product development and innovation; operations and technology; research; clinical; and, business risk giving her the ability to develop and deliver on balanced scorecard metrics like employee engagement, operational effectiveness, client satisfaction and revenue / profit.
Previously, she was Vice President, Health Products & Services at UnitedHealthcare (UHC) where she led the Healthcare Transformation Team (HCT), a collaboration between UHC, AARP Services Inc., Optum, Mercer, Pacific Business Group Health, and academic partners. Working with 4.5 million Medicare Supplement members, the HCT team enhanced older adult engagement and experience with care as well as improved health outcomes and affordability. HCT also tested and scaled 10+ innovations focused on enhancing emotional wellness and personal determinants of health.
Prior to her HCT role, Annette was Vice President, State Partner and Provider Experience at UHC where she focused on improving operational excellence and experience for 23 State Medicaid Programs, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and home & community-based partners. Prior to UHC, she was Vice President, Client Management at Carlson Marketing Worldwide leading consumer loyalty and employee engagement programs designed to improve top and bottom-line performance for Fortune 500 clients.
Annette received her MBA from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN) and completed Executive Leadership Programs with Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota and the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. She also completed a Leadership Black Belt Program at the Juran School of Quality, University of Minnesota.
