Benita Koyton

Benita Koyton is a Manager in Humana’s Care Management program and leads a team of Social Service professionals working to ensure members are connected with resources to meet their identified needs.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 30 years’ experience in the field of Human  Services.   Benita began her career in State Government working in the Medicaid office;  State Psychiatric Hospital and Federal Compliance Department.  After 15 years, she shifted her focus toward the delivery of Clinical Services working with some of the most vulnerable populations.  Much of her career has been in leadership and she has worked on several interdisciplinary teams, committees, and work groups.  She attended Wayne State University in Detroit, MI obtaining her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social work.
