Community Empowerment Coach, CommunityWorks, Isabella County Michigan

“Some see genius as the ability to connect the unconnected, to make juxtapositions, to see relationships…” ~ Dana Scully

While on the way to visit the National Underground Railroad Museum in Maysville, KY, Jonna encountered two bridges across the Ohio River only 3 miles apart. With whimsical joy in her heart and a matching grin on her face, Jonna drove in a 7 mile circle, round and round, over the Ohio, over the Ohio, over the Ohio, over the Ohio. Jonna loves bridges. Jonna loves water. These loves do not seem like a coincidence. Jonna grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a middle child, and has since lived in 12 different states functioning as an ecological educator, social justice activist and community connector. Being in the juxta-position has allowed Jonna amazing opportunities to build and enjoy bridges. Jonna truly loves bridges. And water.
