Dr. Kristine Gloria is a recovering academic, budding social impact entrepreneur, and dedicated steward of technology for good. Kristine’s expertise sits at the intersection of the human condition and technology with specific interest in the future of emerging tech and well-being. She has served as the co-founder and chief science officer for Slow Talk, PBC and is the former Director of Artificial Intelligence for the Aspen Institute. Kristine holds a doctorate in Cognitive Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Her professional career has spanned both private industry and public service working for companies like Waggener Edstrom and the State of Texas. She is a 2017 ICAPP Fellow, 2011 Berkeley Tech and Society Fellow, and is a former academic researcher for the Internet Policy Research Institute (IPRI) at MIT.
