Rani E. Snyder, MPA, is Acting President of The John A. Hartford Foundation and a national leader in aging and health care. With more than 25 years of experience, she has worked with leading health care institutions across the U.S. to improve the care of older adults, set standards for medical best practices, expand medical education opportunities, and maximize resources to strengthen health care broadly. At The John A. Hartford Foundation, she leads initiatives that build Age-Friendly Health Systems, support family caregivers, and improve serious illness and end-of-life care. She serves on the board of the American Society on Aging, the Elder and Home Care Committee of Mid Coast Hospital in Maine, and was appointed by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra to the National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services.
