Seat at the Table: Community Listening, Law Talk, and Diasporic Dialogue

July 22 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Your voice belongs where decisions are made. This session is a safe, action-oriented space for neighbors to share real stories, break down legal barriers, and build community power. We are not just here to talk; we are here to turn our shared wisdom into real protection and policy change.

Please answer the 6 questions below. Your raw, honest truths will directly shape how we challenge the systems impacting our neighborhood.

IDENTIFYING THE BARRIERS
What system or rule makes your life harder every single day?
What law or policy in your city is blocking you or your family from getting ahead?

ROOTED WISDOM AND POWER
What wisdom from your family or community needs to be part of how we make decisions?
What ways are people in your neighborhood already helping each other that we could grow bigger?

MOVING TO ACTION
How do we make sure this conversation actually protects people and does not just stay talk?

How can we use our stories and our art to force the people in power to listen?
