Spiritual Mechanics of Liberation: An Ode to Women Who Have Fought

July 25 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

This session honors the women who have carried us, the ancestors who paved the way, and the mothers, sisters, and daughters still holding the line. We gather to name the spiritual practices that sustain us, protect Black and Brown women from erasure and harm, and reclaim rest as resistance while we build the world we deserve.
We invite you to join us for a sacred community listening session where your story becomes testimony and your wisdom shapes how we organize, heal, and fight together.

Please answer the 6 questions below when you RSVP. Your responses will directly inform how we center women’s leadership, spiritual grounding, and collective care in our movement work.

ANCESTRAL STRENGTH AND LINEAGE
Which woman from history or today keeps you going when things get hard?
How do you use the wisdom passed down to you to stay strong?

SPIRITUAL FREEDOM AND PROTECTION
What does freedom for your spirit look like in your everyday life?
How can we do a better job protecting Black and Brown mothers in our community?

REST, HEALING, AND RESISTANCE
What does rest look like for you while you are still fighting for change?
How do we bring the healing practices our ancestors used into the work we do now?
Date: Friday, July 25, 2026
Time: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM EST
Platform: Zoom (link provided upon RSVP)
This session centers women’s voices, spiritual resilience, and the sacred work of rest. We will close with a collective blessing, honoring the women who fought before us and the ones still fighting now.
